Culture Days 2012

It's not often that I get to hang these pieces full length (or nearly) and together. This work hung at Factory 163 in Stratford during the 2012 Culture Days.

  1. Hi, Micaela. Your long pieces look great hung in their full glory--they really soften that stark space.

  2. The pieces look great -- but the venue? At first glance the wall to the far left looks like a striped piece of weaving with some sort of weird pipe used as an installation! Stark, indeed!

  3. Hi Micaela;
    I loved these pieces in Burlington. They have a lovely haunting quality. Congratulations. At some point, I would be happy to understand your printmaking process.

  4. Thanks you all for your kind comments. Yes it is indeed a stark place, but it's too bad I didn't spin around a take a picture in the other direction. It a huge high-ceiling old factory building that is filled with art and theatre props, plays and music going on in adjoining rooms.

    Daniela - the prints are collagraphs printed on an etching press.
