Preparing for the Quilt Exhibit
The last few weeks we've been getting everything in order to mount an beautiful exhibit of contemporary and traditional quilts. The contemporary quilts are 43 gems from SAQA's trunk show "THIS is a Quilt!" (photos to come later on these).The traditional quilts come from the Stratford Perth Museum's collection. We're busy sewing on channels for hanging, and doing some stabilization and repair.
Juxtaposing these is beginning to look wonderful!
The exhibit opens Saturday - Feb 11.
